Across the United States, community-based immigration nonprofits are facing an unprecedented surge in case activity due to increased ICE enforcement activities. Many operate with limited staff and funding yet continue to provide critical legal support to immigrants seeking safety, stability, and a fair chance at due process.
To help meet this growing need, we are proud to announce we’ve launched the Due Process Initiative—a new program providing qualifying nonprofit immigration legal service providers with a 10% discount on case preparation services through December 31, 2025.
Strengthening the Nonprofits That Safeguard Due Process
The initiative was developed to help nonprofit legal organizations manage increasing caseloads without compromising accuracy or client care. By extending our established infrastructure to nonprofits, we enable teams to process more applications efficiently and reduce the administrative strain on staff attorneys and accredited representatives.
Participating organizations receive expert support in:
- Document collection and organization
- USCIS form preparation and cross-checking
- Filing assembly and readiness reviews
Each case is returned as a ready-to-file packet complete with cover letters, indexed exhibits, and translated materials as needed, so nonprofits can focus on what matters most: serving their communities.
A Mission Rooted in Experience
For Yesica Sierra, Founder and CEO of Immigration Paralegals, the initiative reflects both professional insight and personal conviction.
“Our goal is to strengthen the frontline organizations that keep the promise of due process and the American dream alive,” Sierra shared. “We believe everyone deserves fair representation as they navigate the path toward lawful status. This program is about giving nonprofits the operational support they need to focus on advocacy and client care, while we handle the technical and procedural details.”
Sierra’s perspective is shaped by her own immigration journey. As the child of immigrant parents and a DACA recipient, she experienced firsthand the complexities and emotions of the immigration system. Her years working within immigration law firms revealed a persistent challenge: nonprofits striving to meet demand while grappling with high caseloads, staff turnover, and limited administrative support.
“Dedicated nonprofit attorneys work tirelessly to help people achieve a better life,” she added. “But they are often overwhelmed by disorganized systems and increasing client needs. Our team’s mission is to bring structure, consistency, and expert support to help those organizations serve more people—without burning out their teams.”
Open Enrollment Through 2025
The Due Process Access Initiative is open to U.S.-based nonprofit organizations that provide immigration legal support services, including family-based, employment-based, and humanitarian filings. Eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis.
